Poultry house inlet valves are designed and calculated using advanced methods by our specialists. They are manufactured in various sizes, considering the installation location on the poultry house walls, ceiling height, regional climate, and prevailing wind direction. The aerodynamic design of the inlet door ensures air adhesion and directs airflow to the highest points in the house.

This type of adjustable inlet valve is known as a negative pressure ventilation system because it operates based on the pressure difference between the outside and inside air. When the inlet valve is opened, over 70% of the air flows from under the inlet door. This is highly effective in summer for cooling poultry and preventing wall dampness.

Manual adjustment of the poultry house air valve is performed by personnel based on the house temperature and their experience. A winch is used for this purpose. Automatic adjustment is controlled by the poultry house automation system based on factors such as chick age, temperature, humidity, pressure, and levels of harmful and polluting gases within the house. In this method, the poultry house automation system simultaneously adjusts the inlet valve and starts the ventilation fans.

Standard poultry house inlet window dimensions are generally expressed as width and height, using centimeters or inches. These dimensions vary depending on the type (manual, automatic, ceiling, wall-mounted) and capacity. For example:
Small inlets: Dimensions of 30x60 centimeters are used for small houses. Large inlets: Have larger dimensions and are used for large houses with high poultry density. In these cases, several medium or small inlets are often used in combination to ensure even airflow distribution.

Calculating Appropriate Dimensions:
Precise inlet dimension calculation requires expertise and the use of specialized formulas and software. Important factors in the calculation include:
House Volume: The size of the house and the ventilatable space.
Poultry Population: The number of birds and their density per unit area.
Poultry Type: The species and age of the poultry affect their ventilation needs.
Climate Conditions: Ambient temperature, humidity, and wind speed.
Ventilation System Type Natural or mechanical ventilation system.

Calculating The Number Of Inlets Before installation, calculate the number of Inlets needed for the house. This calculation is based on the length, width, wall height, and roof of the house.

Installation LocationInlet windows should be installed on the longitudinal walls of the house at calculated intervals from each other and opposite each other.

Adjust the Opening and Closing Mechanism: The opening and closing mechanism should be properly adjusted to operate automatically at specified times. This mechanism may include cables, gears, or a motor.
