The egg conveyor belt runs parallel to the bottom edge and opposite the cage cells. Eggs are gently conveyed at a low speed from a 7-degree inclined surface onto the collection belts, preventing accumulation at any point. Eggs are transferred directly from the conveyor belts onto the roller chain of the cross conveyor. The conveyor belt is precisely synchronized using accurate microswitches and pulled by a braked motor in the main lifting column, positioned at each cage row.
